Hi
I’ve been all these things at one point or another. Feel free to ask me about any of them.
I will not be telling you about myself in the 3rd person because I’m not a psychopath.
Right now, I’m an EVP / Global ECD at Saatchi&Saatchi working on P&G brands. Leading a talented, multidisciplinary team of 25 creatives. Launching the first-ever globally integrated campaigns for two of P&G’s oldest, flagship brands; Crest and Oral-B. Definitely flossing more often.
Before that, I was the co-founder / CEO of a physical Esports startup. We built hardware and software that turns any old bicycle into a globally networked gaming console. I formed strategic partnerships with collegiate Esports programs, figured out financial projections, investor presentations, trademarks/patents, product dev, branding etc. Sometimes it was fun? Don’t recommend.
Before that, I had a freelance operation. Worked with all kinds of agencies (Droga5, Mccann, W+K, Translation, Anomaly, Ogilvy, etc), on everything from fashion to tech to food and booze. Occasionally Squishmellows.
Before that, I was a Creative Director at 72andSunny running General Mills brands and Smirnoff. We won awards for an on-box crypto currency designed to turn kids into philanthropists, as well as a Schoolhouse Rocks-style series of songs and videos aimed at making the world a more peaceful, accepting place.
Before that, I was a Creative Director at Anomaly, running all the Campbell’s brands, a couple of Hershey brands, a couple Google initiatives and Panera Bread. We transformed the latter from a forgettable name into an award-winning brand with a platform that increased revenue and stock prices for the entirety of the 7 years it ran.
Before that I was the inventor of the Cool Baby. A 36-ounce hands-free drink container that looks like a baby sleeping in a baby bjorn. The Kickstarter failed but the content went extremely viral. I was interviewed live on 3 nationally syndicated TV shows and Anderson Cooper called me a ‘genius.’ It was during Ridiculist but he fucking said it ok?
Before that I was a Creative at Mother NY. Worked on candy, booze, music, tech, sports. Lost 12 pounds while promoting Burger King’s bacon-cheddar-stuffed burgers because I lost my appetite staring at Burger King’s bacon-cheddar-stuffed burgers.
Before that I was a Junior Creative at Johannes Leonardo. Worked my ass off on Google initiatives and Bacardi.
Before that I was a professional comedian. Started writing at 13. At 15, stole my dad’s car and drove it 45 minutes to Roxbury, Massachusetts to perform standup at the only bar that would let me in without an ID. Got an agent at 20, quit my job and toured for a month as an opener at 25. Horrible life. 2 stars.
